Haptic Design — From Mechanical Illusion to Multimodal Reality

A compact, hands-on workshop for students, academic researchers, industrial experts and decision-makers who want to move beyond actuator specifications and create haptic experiences that feel credible, useful and market-ready.

The workshop connects perception science, engineering practice, product industrialization, gaming, XR, accessibility and interactive art. Participants learn why haptic quality often decides whether a product is accepted or rejected — and how systematic design, evaluation and multimodal coherence can reduce development risk.
